I worked in a nursing home last summer with elderly residents. Even though I worked in the kitchen, the best part of my shift was getting to go and hang out with the residents. It made my day to chat with them and hear their stories. In addition, my grandfather who has alzheimer's lives with my family. While I was home during COVID, I took care of him everyday. I took him on walks to make sure he got exercise and prepare meals for him. He loved every second of it.
