I have babysat, nannied, and worked with a wide variety of special needs children. I started with working at Chase Behavioral Solutions when I was 15 , they are a ABA therapy clinic/daycare for children on the spectrum and other special needs. I also was a nanny for a child with Patau syndrome, which was one of my favorite jobs and I love that girl dearly. As a gymnastics coach for 4 years, I worked with a lot of autistic children and their parents on methods for coaching that fit her child best. I, myself have ADHD and that has made me very patient with hyper, inattentive, or ADHD presenting children. I know how hard it is to be a kid with ADHD, I hope I can be a positive influence on how a child with ADHD views their disorder and try and help de stigmatize shame around these struggles.
