About Caroline

Hi! I have 5+ years experience working with elderly clients and am registered with the Family Care Safety Registry. Many of my clients have had Alzheimer's disease, and I provided overnight care as well as care during the day. I assisted to and from the bathroom, facilitated memory activities such as looking through photo albums and doing puzzles, changed clients, and went for walks outside. Another client is recovering from two strokes, and I kept his space clean along with reading to him, overseeing his medication, running errands, meal prepping, doing fun activities together, encouraging him to do his exercises, and implementing speech therapy. DISCLAIMER: I am not trained in self-defense or safety holds and am therefore not equipped to work with dementia patients who display violent behavior toward themselves or their caregiver. I am not certified or licensed in anything other than CPR. I am looking to use my caregiving experience to provide companionship for the elderly.
