Before college I work in the children's department of our church creating and running summer camps. While going to college I worked as a paraprofessional in a kindergarten class. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in early childhood education in late 2005. I worked as a teacher on and off for 15 years, taking time off to be with my children and help with my ailing parents. Since 2020 worked as a tutor some of my former students.
