My name is Caroline D., a native of Buckhead and a Georgia State University graduate. I cared for my sickly mother until she unfortunately passed away in 2014. I cherished every minute we spent together and made everything as comfortable as possible for her last years. I stay in constant contact with my 89-year-old grandfather, who recently underwent multiple heart surgeries. His dementia is nearing Alzheimer's. The more time we spend conversing, the clearer his mind seems to becoming. This might be wishful thinking, nevertheless I call him everyday just to talk about whatever he desires.
