As a college instructor, I've been told I have the patience of a saint. Not bragging here, I just demonstrate kindness and patience in my classrooms and have been told this. I want to bring my fun energy and patience to a family that appreciates and needs my support. I started working with kids when my mom had a home day care. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. When I was 19 I was a caretaker for teens at a foster treatment center for about a year and it was the most fulfilling job I've had. Since then I've raised 2 beautiful children with my husband of 23 years. I have an almost empty nest and room in my schedule to help the right family on a part-time ongoing basis. I like to cook, take dance classes, sing all day, and love art. I'm allergic to cats. I love gentle dogs and have 2 shih tzus.
