Hey I'm Carolina! I have four years of experience working with kids as a teacher's assistant, daycare worker, camp counselor, and babysitter. I've worked with kids ages 1-12 and am comfortable with any age. While I don't have paid experience with infants, I was the oldest in my family and grew up taking care of babies, so I definitely know my way around diapers, bottles, and nap time! Three words to describe me? Energetic, bubbly, and patient. I truly believe nannying isn't just about watching kids: it's about helping them grow into the best version of themselves. I'm great at playing pretend, making arts and crafts, tag, hide-and-seek, and pretty much anything your child is into! I'm also a huge animal lover (I have four of my own!), so I'd be happy to help with pet care too. I'm okay with driving kids occasionally, but I'd prefer it not to be a main part of the job. Carolina was absolutely wonderful with our multiple high energy children. She engaged heavily with them, and integrated all routines and responsibilities within appropriate play to keep the kids engaged and excited even about things as simple as cleaning up their Legos. After, she was still able to keep them not over-stimulated and wind the kids down for bedtime routine. My only regret is that Carolina had to move to the opposite coast and we can not re-hire her. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with childcare needs.
