Hi! My name is Carolina, and I LOVE working with children. I received my Masters in Social Work at CSU East Bay and enjoy being involved with children and families in and out of my community. I have been a leading staff in the Elementary and Middle School ministries at my church for the past 18 years, have been a nanny for over 8 years and I speak four languages (fluent in 2!). I have recent Nanny experience with infants, pre-school, and elementary school children. I am very outgoing, hands on, and love taking trips to the park, library, zoo, and using our imagination to have loads of fun! I love what I do and enjoy being alongside the kids and watch them grow. I would like to find a family that needs part-time assistance; before and after school with availability to do a full day and potentially another half day. I have references upon request. Carollina cared for our daughter for one year (from 5 months to 17 months) after I went back to work. They quickly became best buds. Our daughter just adored Carolina. She was patient and loving through every stage from infant to toddler. I loved that she kept her so active and around other children, they would go to the library, the recreation center, the Imaginarium, and all of the local parks. Carolina is a great teacher, helping our daughter learn new words, animal sounds, objects, and body parts. She was very helpful around the house too, doing our daughter's dishes and laundry. Early on we made the decision to have a nanny for one year and then go to daycare. Although we think this was the right time to make the switch, we all miss Carolina terribly. She became part of the family and always had our daughter's best interests at heart. We would hire her again in a second (and hope to keep using her for occasional date nights!). You will not regret hiring her as your nanny!
