About Carol

Recently taken care of an autistic 9 year. I have been working for a wonderful family whose children are currently 3 and 1 for the last 2 1/2 years. They no longer need my help. Before this I was taking care of a child since he was 4 months until he was turning 6 and entering school. I have also been caring for newborn babies and the elderly. Previous to this have worked in the childcare field at the Bright Horizon's Child Development Center for 12 years as an Administrative Assistant covering in rooms when needed. My job has been eliminated (June 29, 2012) due to downsizing. Before becoming the Admin Assistant worked at the CDC in the capacity of securing a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the children. I have two children of my own and when they were young I was an in-house self-employed child caregiver. I truly love children and would treat any child like my own. In addition, I find working with the children, newborns and the elderly to be an extremely rewarding experience.
