About Carmen

Hello! Mi name is Carmen, but I prefer to use my middle name Melissa I originally from Guatemala and I moved to the USA in 2006. I speak English and Spanish. I've worked in different fields including Macy's and cleaning houses. About my experience working with kids; my first experience was with my own daughter. Then, a few years later I started working with infants in a daycare where I worked for four years. There, I started as an assistant teacher and 11 months later I was promoted as an Infant lead teacher. I learned a lot about the physical and emotional development in kids and enjoyed seeing how they reached every milestone and celebrated it. Curriculum, I'm working in a different daycare where I'm working with different age groups. And I'm always open to learn more. During my spare time, I like to walk in the nature and take pictures. I also enjoy reading and do different kinds of art projects, but overall I love to be with my 9-year-old daughter who has a gentle heart.
