About Carmen

Three words that would describe me are kind, patient, and pleasant. I'm looking for a job that will utilize my 30+ years of experience in caregiving to senior citizens. I am a certified Home Health Aide. I keep up with the trainings needed to remain certified. Some of the things I have done on the job are bathe patients, move them from their bed to their wheelchair, dress the patient, cook them meals, light housekeeping, etc. I like caring for seniors because I saw my mother taking care of them when she was younger, and I saw the smiles she would bring to their faces as a result of her compassionate caregiving. This line of work gives me a sense of purpose, and it's also something I do to honor my mother. One thing you should know about me is that I treat my patients like they are my own family. I want family members of the patient as well as the patient to know that they are in good hands with me.
