About Carmelita

I'd describe my personality as one who cares deeply, holds compassion for others and is very patience without judgement. I like caring for seniors because they hold so much knowledge and wisdom that we all can learn from. It's a way for me to honor those that come before me and to assist our seniors who are now in need of help as they start to lose their ability to care for themselves and those they cared for. I started caring for seniors in my early 20's right before I took nursing courses only for me to step away due to life circumstances. In the last 5yrs I have been taking care of seniors and realized that I enjoy it more than my current job. In my spare time, I like to volunteer at an outreach on Saturday's and at my church on Sundays. I like to read, spend time with family, hike, dance, sing and try to do/learn new things. My skills include empathy, problem solving, communication, organization, time management, dependable and a hands on type of person.
