Hi, I'm Carly! I have lots of experience with children. I've worked at a daycare for 2 years where I was working with 3-12-year-olds. During this time we went on various field trips which the kids as well as I thoroughly loved. I also worked at the after school programs in two elementary schools with kindergarten to sixth grade students. I also worked as a mentor for a 7th grade student, where I helped with homework. I would not rehire Carly again. She really doesn't understand what a sitter's responsibilities include (even after being provided written instructions). I hired her for a few weeks, and she did not do a good job while I was away. I had multiple sitters on a weekend away, and the sitter after her told me that she had left a lot of mess and did not pick up after herself. The night-time sitter wanted me to know that she had to pick up after her. The kids told me she chose to use her personal device while she was "watching my kids" and not play with them. They also told me she fed them only chicken nuggets for dinner after I gave her instructions on making a balanced meal. I spoke to her after and paid her a lesser fee due to the fact that she did chose to do nothing except show up. After a few weeks, she threatened small claims court for the small remainder of the balance, which was not earned.
