In 2012 I was hired by a lovely couple to be a driver for an older man who needed help getting to his doctors appointments. From then I built a relationship with the family and became his full time caretaker after he suffered from multiple strokes and mental illness. I also babysat his grand daughter while taking care of him; preparing meals, cleaning the house, preparing and injecting his insulin (diabetic), bringing him to 4+ doctors appointments a week and sharing the information and questions between doctor and family, providing companionship and reversing depression.
