About Carly

Hi! My name is Carly and I am born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am a true outdoor enthusiast and love skiing, rafting, hiking, camping, and farming! I have experience as a nanny, ski instructor, English teacher, and currently volunteer assisting occupational therapists with equine therapy. I am interested in becoming an occupational therapist and am applying to CSU's graduate program. I am very patient, caring, and creative. I have worked as a teaching assistant at a Montessori school in Denver and am very interested in Montessori's methods and values, especially focusing on my communication style with children. I believe in treating children with the upmost respect and care, and believe in creating safe limits and allowing freedom by providing choices with desired outcomes. I am a novice naturalist and love using nature and plants as teachers!
