About Carly

First, I would like to inform you that I'm a mom of a 5-month-old and would prefer caring for others in my own home. I am CPR certified and keep that up to date. I was EMT certified, but decided not to renew that. I'm slowly but surely working on my bachelors degree in Social Science with a minor in child development. I have been babysitting/nannying since I was about 13 years old. The general age range I tend to is 6 months to 7 years, though I am comfortable with any age. I like to limit screen time when possible and play outside in the summer, go for walks, play with chalk, play sports, etc. I am comfortable cooking for kids. I also believe in routines and naps. I can help with reading or just read to them. I will also work with the kids on cleaning up after themselves. I have experience with tutoring children as well. I believe in building a healthy relationship with school and learning to cope with their emotions and struggles to succeed in school and outside of school.
