S. graduate Fulbright scholar, who graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Madrid, Spain, and a Master in Education from Stanford. While in Madrid, and in the San Francisco Bay area, I've tutored several Middle School, High School, and College students in Math, Test Preparation (SAT, ISEE, SSAT), and Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, English) for several years during and after my Undergraduate and Graduate studies. I have taught in the classroom and one-on-one for 10 years. I have coached students with ADD and ADHD executive functioning skills for more than six years. I love spending time with kids and making their learning process fun and not frustrating. I have vast experience developing curriculum and programming.

I started this journey looking for a Spanish tutor for my 1st grader who is in a Spanish immersion program in DC. We were fortunate to find and hire Carlos, a native Spanish speaker (such a plus) to work with our son two days a week. We have seen his confidence increase and his ability to read and comprehend Spanish greatly improve. We look forward to continuing to work with Carlos throughout the summer to help bridge the summer gap before he starts 2nd grade. Carlos is clearly experienced with teaching and helping children at their level. If you are considering a tutor, don't wait. I highly recommend Carlos.
