About Carlie

I love kids & need them in my life! While my degree is in business from UPenn, I am currently finishing my pre-med requirements to pivot into neurology. I am a portrait drawer, fluent Spanish speaker, & a former competitive dancer. I'd describe my personality as down to earth, curious, and thorough. I like tutoring because when lightbulbs go off, it is magical! Also I am a nerd. I'm looking for a job that has regularity and connection. I started tutoring when I was 16, helping younger students master algebra & geometry. Last year (age 27) I tutored general & organic chemistry at the University of Wisconsin. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, exercise, & cook new recipes. I have an elaborate spice drawer! One thing you should know about me is I will encourage your kids to trust & love themselves more than I will encourage them to achieve specific milestones.
