Hi, my name is Carlie! I have my Bachelors of Science in psychology and am currently in my first year of my Master's in Professional Counseling. I am CPR certified, as well as a certified NCS (Newborn Care Specialist). I started nannying back in 2019 with on-call jobs, working with a variety of ages from new born to kindergarten ages. I have cared for multiple families long term. My most recent family I started when the baby was 10 months old and he is now 2 and a half and off to daycare, so I am looking to find another full time position. He became such a special part of my life and heart. I took him through an at-home curriculum working on developmentally age-appropriate to reach milestones daily. My degree in Psychology and my current studies in counseling, has greatly added to my knowledge of child development and has enabled me to understand what each age group needs in order to excel developmentally. Carlie is a such a sweet and caring person. She worked for our family for almost two years, taking care of our child. As his got older and had longer school days, we couldn't offer her enough hours--that's the only reason we let her go. She is friendly and upbeat and was very interactive, coming up with fun activities and outings. During the pandemic, when our son's school closed, she came up with educational activities and games. She was very responsible and went above and beyond, keeping our home tidy, even though we didn't require it as part of her job. She really became like part of our family and we still keep in touch and she babysits for us. I believe any family would be lucky to have her!
