I started working with adults with intellectual disabilities in November of 2021. I've been a caregiver since I was 18 years old in high school. I previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes. I also attended Nursing School, but in my last year decided that it wasn't for me. I had found that I love working with individuals with special needs, connecting with them, and helping make their lives more adaptable, enjoyable, and expanding opportunities for them as well! I am considering furthering my career in special needs, but for now, I have an almost-full-time position at a Day Program in Pittsburgh. Message me if you think I may be able to help!
