Hi! I'm Carla, and I'm new to Albany. I currently work in education administration. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. Before I moved to Albany, my most recent position was as a NYS-certified public school teacher. I am certified to teach Italian and Spanish, but I have also taught English as a New Language. I have experience teaching children with special needs. In my most recent previous role, I taught introductory Spanish at an elementary school (grades K-5). I have over six years of classroom teaching experience, and I have babysat and/or taught students from age two through university-level. I live in Albany and have my own car. I have been driving for over 15 years. I hold a Master's in Childhood Education. I hold a bachelor's in Italian Language. Carla has been babysitting my 3 children, ages 6, 4 and 2, for over one year now and she is fantastic. She is the only babysitter I have actually ever had for my kids. She is very patient and understands their individual needs. My children love her! She is so kind and very imaginative in coming up with ways for them all to play nicely together. I feel completely comfortable leaving them with her, whether it's just for running errands or for a night out.
