About Carla

I'm a caregiver with three years of experience looking after children of all ages. My passion for helping children grow and thrive has been ignited by my roles as an au pair and teacher's assistant. Whether it's through creative activities, storytelling, or educational games, I strive to make a positive impact on their lives and support families in any way I can. I'm known for my calm and patient nature, my creativity, and my approachability. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to discuss their child's day or any concerns. When it comes to household rules, I take my cues from the parents to ensure consistency and a harmonious environment for the children. I can comfortably care for up to three children at a time and have experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. I'm fluent in both English and Portuguese. I have some high school education and am CPR and First Aid certified.
