About Carla

I've spent the past three years as a caregiver because I'm passionate about positively impacting lives. My creative and imaginative spirit helps me connect with children, and my friendly and caring nature puts them at ease. I'm also bilingual in English and Spanish. I believe in open and consistent communication with parents, so I provide regular updates on their child's day and address any issues promptly. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the children. I love playing board games and puzzles with children, and I also enjoy using educational games to make learning fun. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to preteens, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I have some college education under my belt, I have my medical assistant title, I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I also have a car, so I'm able to transport children to and from school or activities.
