About Carissa

I whole heartedly love caring for children. I love seeing the different ways they adapt and work through the world. I have spent a lot of time working and learning different ways to better children and their experiences. I have almost 18 years' experience with children and young adults. I have also done charity work with a few childcare providers, as well as learning to act and handle children with disabilities such as autism. I currently hold 2 Associate Degrees in Child Education and Development and am attending P. C. for Special Education Curriculum Adaptations. While my husband was in the Army, I took up many jobs volunteering with office work and sales for his unit, in order to keep things running smoothly among wives and the soldiers command both during they're deployments and after. I have volunteered for multiple civil charities such as American Legion Veterans Dinners, Parades, Porterville Celebrates reading, The Porterville Iris Festival, and Porterville Band-A-Rama.
