Hello there! my name is Carissa and I'm currently looking for a child care job that is full time. as a nanny my duties could include: keeping the house clean, making sure kids were on time for school, games, etc, teaching kids basic learning skills, cooking meals and maintaining organization. I am CPR certified. I am a college student at Folsom Lake. As of right now, I only have a class on friday 1pm-2:20. I can handle multiples (twins, triplets, etc) and I am also very good at dealing with children that have special needs. If you have any further questions, feel free to send a message! A little about me: I am very caring, nurturing and friendly. I am responsible. I also am very alert at making sure the kids are always in safety.

Carissa is a natural born caregiver and mommy. With 5 year old triplets and newborn identical twins, I was desperate for assistance and for childcare when I went back to my full time job as a teacher. I had come to know and respect Carissa as her high school teacher and knew how compassionate, honest and responsible she was, but when I was searching for someone who could handle the rigors and demands of newborn multiples, I felt there were few people out there who I could trust to take care of my kids as if they were their own. I knew that Carissa had many experiences as a babysitter and an auntie, but once I hired her, I was floored by her positive nature, her perfect attendance and her instantaneous bond with all 5 of our children. As a mother of two sets of multiples, I know just how hard it to is to stay calm and nurturing when kids are rambunctious or when two or more babies are vying for your attention while screaming at the top of their lungs, and Carissa was able to care for all of our children in a very loving manner through their moments of fussiness and their bouts of roughhousing. In fact, she helped them to calm down as well and always made them feel at ease and gently directed toward better behavior. When Carissa moved up North, it was a huge loss to our family. She was a dream nanny in every sense. She was always punctual, flexible, loyal and handled our daily chaos in stride. While she mostly cared for the twins through their infancy and toddler years, our triplets also loved the days where Carissa was there to care for all 5 children, and they constantly bring up her name and how they wished she was still their nanny. I know Carissa plans to become a preschool teacher, and caring for children is her greatest passion and one of her strongest skill sets, so I'm excited that she is pursuing her dream. It may sound silly, but my family is a bit jealous that anyone else will get to have her as a nanny as we think of her as part of our family and miss her dearly. However, we know that this is her calling and that nannies with her disposition, dependability and genuine love for kids are very hard to find, so we hope she goes to a good family! She has been a gift to our family, and we are confident she will be a gift to yours. Please feel free to call, text or email with any questions.
