About Carissa

I'm Carissa, a masters student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Concordia University - Irvine. I have many years of experience nannying children between the ages of 10 months - 6 years old. My greatest strength is in preparing toddlers age 2-3 years old for preschool. Your child will be safe, attuned to, understood, and supported. I can teach your child how to read, using the ToddlersCanRead approach. Your child and I will read countless books, play, have dance parties, create art, learn about the world, and become brave problem solvers. I use developmentally informed language and will engage your child in meaningful conversations. I naturally foster their feelings of gratitude and empathy. Together we will be excited about bugs and nature. I prefer to nanny one child at a time to provide them with individual attention. I am also comfortable with nannying 2 or 3 children. I charge $28+ for 1 child, $32+ for 2.
