I am a close friend of Elyse and have been with her when taking care of the kids. She brought them with her to watch a fun game of soccer and volleyball. They loved Elyse, had a strong connection with her, and trusted her very much. They would turn to her for anything in a situation, especially if they felt uncomfortable, which is a considerable aspect in a kid's life to feel comfortable and safe. If they were having a breakdown, Elyse would quickly step in and calm them down with all the right things to say to help them in the situation.
