Cari was my mother’s Caregiver 12 hours/day, 3-4 days/week for the last eight months of her life. Within minutes of messaging Cari, she was responding to me. I immediately felt like she would fit in with Mom and our whole family, so I checked her references next. I was amazed by how complementary each person was. I remember someone saying that aside from being everything they could have hoped for in a caregiver, that Cari was a happy person. Cari was responsible, reliable, never late, never called out sick, and picked up shifts when our other caregiver called out. She is physically strong and I trust her to handle any situation with good judgement. Cari meticulously managed Mom’s medications and came up with several ideas to make life easier and more enjoyable for her, including arranging for in-home haircuts, going to the library on her own time to check out interesting movies, and figuring out ways to effectively minimize the sensitive challenge of incontinence. Cari was very patient Mom. She was my righthand person for Mom’s intense last 12 days of life. She and I worked seamlessly together to keep my mother comfortable, clean, out of pain, and supported in every way so that she could pass peacefully at home - which she did. Cari is a delightful, highly capable, emotionally mature, reliable person. I give her my highest recommendation!
