Carina was a dependable/reliable, medically sound and caring person who gave my invalid sister’ “Pat” a “safe feeling” under her care. Pat knew when Carina was on duty that her medical needs would be met, she’d be fed, changed & bathed with dignity. Carina’s calm demeanor helped reduce Pat’s anxiety & Dementia. She was punctual on arrival and stayed extra time if needed. She went out of her way to push Pat’s wheelchair to an outing or event to help Pat’s mood. She did small and big acts of kindness that made Pat feel cared for. Carina remained patient when it was difficult to understand Pat’s weakened voice. She remained with Pat until she passed. Our family was grateful to have Carina take care of Pat and would rehire her if any member of my family needed care!
