About Cari

Being a middle child of 4 children, changing diapers & helping with homework was anything but rare growing up. I am the second oldest to an 11-year-old sister & 7-year-old brother. I assure you, I've experienced all the glamorous & not-so-glamorous parts of having kids. Helping raise my younger siblings was & still is the greatest joy of my life. From the age of 15 until I graduated high school, I babysat my neighbors children while also helping raise my little siblings. When I moved to NY four years ago, I began nannying for a single mom & her 9 & 10-year-old kids. Her son has Autism, OCD, & is non-verbal. Learning how to take care of a child with Autism has been a challenging yet extremely beautiful process. It has been one of the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had. Creating a loving & safe environment for children is my top priority. Having been a teacher's aid for second graders, I am able & excited to help with homework, art projects, sports activities, etc..
