About Cara

Hello there! My name is Cara. I'd describe my personality as energetic, compassionate, and always looking for growth. I like caring for seniors because it is so rewarding to help others and because I learn so much from those who are older than me. I'm looking for a job that provides steady hours and has a healthy, warm environment. I started caring for seniors about 10 years ago. I have worked in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, retirement homes, hospitals, and in-home settings. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, exercise, go to church, spend time with family, and tend to my plants. One thing you should know about me is I'm very adaptable, always leaving room for my client's preferences and desires. My skills include dementia care, foley-catheter care, Parkinson's care, ADL assistance, transportation, light housekeeping and meal preparation, companion care, and more. I am a non-smoker & can pass a background & driving records check.
