About Cara

Hi! My name is Cara. I've been pet sitting since l was 12. Those experiences mainly consisted of me coming to people's homes, and walking, feeding, and playing with the dog or cat, and occasionally administering medication. I remember one dog specifically, Max, only trusted me as his caregiver, so this family contacted me multiple times a year when they went on vacation. I also watered their plants, checked the mail, and did some light chores. I've previously volunteered at a dog shelter, where I had to take an eight-hour course on animal abuse prevention, how to treat dogs with care yet authority, and how to have fun with them! I experienced my mom raise several of her dogs from puppies and attended dog training classes for two of them. I grew up with my mom fostering dogs, so l am aware of the different temperaments and how to be sensitive to that. I currently have two cats of my own, but would have an animal of every kind if I had the space for it! Don't hesitate to reach out
