About Cara

I have been babysitting from the age of 14, after taking the Red Cross babysitter's course. I grew up babysitting for my younger sister and other neighborhood children. I graduated from college in California in May of 2012. I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I am continuing my education at Lesley University and I will be graduating with a Master's degree in Elementary education and creative arts in learning this November. I have also had a lot of experience in the classroom setting with children. I spent my four years in college as a nanny for several families, even families with four children from age 3 to 11. I worked full time, (45+ hours) a week last summer as a nanny for a 5-year-old girl. In addition I spent the summer tutoring her in math and reading. I am currently attending school for my Master's degree in Elementary Education. My school is in Cambridge, and I live just a few minutes away in Medford.
