Caring for people with special needs is one of the most remarkable and rewarding experiences both for myself and the person I am helping. I am a sociology major at Scripps College and plan to get my licence masters in social work (LMSW). I love getting to know the person I'm working with what their traits are, what they like to do for fun, and when they need extra help. I believe fostering a genuine and trusting relationship with the person your caring for is the most important thing for success in care-taking. Although care-giving can be challenging and unpredictable, I embrace that challenge and I am experienced in dealing with problems or accidents that come with this job. I care deeply about people and want to do all I can to make their lives better in any way I can.
