About Cara

It is an honor to learn and listen from the elders in our society. To me, providing care for those in the final stages of life is a symbiotic relationship, as I give care I am fed by the wisdom that can only be acquired by one who has lived a long full life. I strive to be a safe and loving presence that is deeply attuned to the emotional and physical needs of the client. I have one year of experience as a caregiver with Avanti Eldercare, working with clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Schizophrenia, Paralysis, and Hospice. I am currently in training as a Death Doula and can provide psychological and emotional care for those nearing end of life. I am an artist, a musician, and lover of nature and often enjoy bringing art activities for clients and love to bring my guitar for sing a longs! I am fully comfortable and capable of assisting with household chores, running errands, mealprep, bathroom help, etc. I am first aid/CPR certified for adults.
