I'd describe my personality as positive and upbeat. I like caring for seniors because this line of work is truly about giving back to those who have given so much most of their lives and now they hold knowledge, wisdom and life experience that is beneficial. Despite age and limitations everyone deserves to be cared for with the upmost dignity. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling and allows me to assist and learn from those whom care is given. I am striving to make someone's day or even someone's moment. Aging or illness doesn't mean giving up on joy, happiness and hope. I started caring for seniors after receiving my STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) license in 2007, I have worked in retirement communities and in private homes. I worked with my last private duty case for nearly 17yrs. In my spare time, I like to go to museums. Happy member of multiple book clubs so I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends. Nothing like human to human connection.
