About Candy

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, kind, and encouraging. I like tutoring because it allows me to encourage and motivate young people in their studies. Sometimes they just need a personalized plan to improve themselves in school. I love offering structure and g accountability for students. I'm looking for a job that is open to Zoom sessions when it makes sense to do so. I'm a professional and offer respect and commitment to my students. I only ask for the same in return. I started tutoring when I became a school teacher in 2000. I did it for my students to help them succeed in the classroom. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, swim, exercise, and explore. One thing you should know about me is that I'm structured and love to communicate to the parent/guardian as well. I will create weekly updates for your child/children to keep you informed. My skills include technology, English/Grammar/Writing, and reading.
