Make beds and change linens, as needed. -Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming. -Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. -Laundry and ironing. -Take out garbage. -Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning). -Engage in physical and mental exercises. -Provide medication reminders. -Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.). -Escort to religious services or events. -Maintain calendar and organize mail and pay bills as directed. -Engage in activities (games, memory books). -Companionship.

Candy provided hands-on care for my mom for 3 years, until she passed. I honestly can't say enough good things about Candy! She's extremely conscientious, compassionate, loving, dependable. Candy always went above and beyond in taking care of my mom--cooking special meals for her, making sure she walked daily and participated in activities, painting her nails and coloring her hair, taking her for outings and doctors appts. When my mom was admitted to the hospital (multiple times), Candy stayed late to make sure she got settled into her room OK, communicated with the family members (not living close by) about her condition, taking special care of my mom even when she was hospitalized. Several other residents at my mom's ALF observed Candy's excellent care and offered her jobs. We were lucky enough to find her first!Don't let her petite stature fool you. Candy is very strong and was able to lift, transfer, and shower my mom even when she could no longer move. Candy is an angel on Earth!
