Hi everyone, my name is Candice and I would love to find a special needs/caregiver position on this site. I recently graduated from Loyola University, live in Edgewater and have experience coaching and caring for children's and adults with special needs. My interest developed in the 7th grade where I would get bussed to Beard Elementary in Chicago in the middle of the school day to provide assistance (to students and teachers at this school for children with disabilities). In high school, I volunteered for Special Olympics, coaching gymnastics classes and working camps over the summer. I have had many challenging but exciting experiences working with this unique population and would love to provide assistance for any families with children or adults with special needs.
