I have tutored online, connecting to middle school aged children from various places in the country. At different times I have helped elementary aged school kids with math, reading, spelling. I have unpaid experience tutoring some college level subjects and paid experience with ACT/SAT prep as well as volunteering with adult ESL learners. I have had a variety of tutoring opportunities over the years, and am an educated and engaging tutor who will try several methods to help a child fully understand a concept. I am not a professional educator however, and hope only to support the academic success of children, especially now when extra help is needed to keep kids engaged and advancing their education when traditional schooling is experiencing the challenges we currently face.
