About Candice

I have been a full-time nanny for 4 children, ages 2-12; I cooked, cleaned, tutored, and cared for their dog. I volunteered with Camp Fire USA for a few years as a "Links-Up Mentor" for grades 2-7 working on social skills with at risk youth. I worked in a mental health facility for a year in which I cared for troubled youth of ages 8-14 with diagnoses including ODD, ADD/ADHD, PDD, depression, anxiety, encopresis, enuresis, trichotillomania, and Pica. I volunteered with hospice providing socialization and caregiver respite for a semester in college. It was a very fulfilling experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with my patients. I'm currently employed full time as a Disability Examiner for the State of Alabama. My schedule is a little flexible, allowing me to go in between 7-9 a.m. and leave between 3:30-6 p.m. I'm looking for evening and weekend positions to supplement my current income as I work on paying off student loan debt.
