I was the neighborhood babysitter as a young teen. Caring for children comes naturally to me. It's not a job or chore, it's instinct. I understand that at first, it will be a learning curve for all of us. Your family needs to learn and gain trust with me and feel comfortable, the same goes for myself. I'll need to learn your child's schedule, preferences, personality and ways of communicating plus anything else that might be needed for special care. I have had experience with special needs children as well as adults. Everyday is an educational experience if you just pay attention.
