About Candace

Hi! I'm Candace and I'm a freshman at Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky. I am an elementary education major looking to be a teacher in the future. I have one sister and though I am the youngest, I have always looked at younger kids around me as a younger sibling I never had. I started student teaching and observing classrooms my junior year of high school and continued doing so until I graduated. I primarily worked in preschool and kindergarten settings. I'm a patient, creative, and friendly caregiver who prioritizes clear and open communication with parents. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing games that are both fun and educational. I can cook, clean, and have reliable transportation. With my experience with early childhood development, I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your child.
