I am currently a daycare teacher (ages 6 weeks to 5 years). I am a mother of two (ages 15 and 12). I often volunteer at my children's school. I love children of all ages and I'm comfortable with all types of pets (if necessary). I can hold a cuddly baby all day or keep kids occupied. I can prepare food, play, chauffeur and otherwise care for kids. Doing this to earn extra money now that my kids need me a little less.

I cannot say enough to accurately praise Candye for the wonderful care she provided my family. She guided my two toddlers through this strange and isolating past year of the pandemic and provided ways to keep them engaged, entertained, and educated! Candye is truly kindhearted, loving and nurturing, yet no-nonsense at the same time. I loved that she stuck to our boundaries with the kids and kept them in line when they got out of hand. She "parented" in a way that I admire and appreciate. Candye herself is raising two wonderful daughters who are 13 and 16 years old. Her experience as a mom (especially one of girls) was an added bonus. As a newer mom, I valued her insight and advice that I often sought out as we entered a new challenge/stage with one of my daughters. I can easily say that Candye is like family to us and, though the kids are back in school now, we will certainly be asking her for help with babysitting and any other extended opportunities for care should the need arise.
