I've worked with children and adults of all ages and abilities for 20+ years. My mother was a special education teacher, and I was at her classroom, and around the kids daily. In schools, I've also worked with kids of all ages & abilities, from basic learning disabilities to severe emotionally, mentally, and physically disabled children. I coached Special Olympics for 10+ years. I trained the kids for swimming and running events five days a week. I teach swim lessons to kids of all ages and abilities. I find it takes a special person to work with children with challenges. I love working with children of all ages and abilities. I'm friendly, kind, patient, compassionate, positive, and motivational. These kids bring me so much joy, to see them smile, or to track their progress, and see how happy they feel when learning something new, or advancing at any particular skill. I feel really great at the end of the day, knowing that I may have influenced them in a very positive way.
