About Camila

Hello! My name is Camila, I am 19 years old and was born and raised in Portland, Or. I am a fluent Spanish speaker with parents from Mexico and Venezuela. Spanish is my very first language, with English being second as my mother was persistent on my siblings and I being able to communicate completely in Spanish. I attended a Spanish immersion school from Kindergarten-5th grade, took advanced Spanish all three years of middle school, and finally took the three highest level Spanish classes provided at my high school including AP Spanish. I received a 5 on the AP Spanish exam, being the highest score achievement on the exam. I am currently a second year at Oregon State University. I am a Marketing major with a minor in Spanish. I have tutored off and on since 8th grade. My mom has owned a preschool daycare for 19 years and I have learned so much from her and her passion of working and helping kids.
