As a paramedic with experience in pediatrics and ocean rescue, along with time in the Coast Guard Reserves, I've gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that make me a responsible and disciplined childcare provider. I am fluent in Spanish and hold a bilingual diploma. I believe in a patient and calm approach, fostering creativity and imagination in a child's life. I follow parents' preferred communication methods and their lead on enforcing household rules. My favorite games to play with children are those that encourage physical activity and learning. With one year of childcare experience, I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I am passionate about health and wellness and enjoy freediving and working out. I hope to share my enthusiasm for an active lifestyle with the children in my care.
