About Camila

My name is Camila but my students have always called me Ms. Cami. My Master's in is Cultural Resource Preservation but I have built a life around playing music, teaching children & most recently casting for TV and film. With the slowing of live music and my teaching job becoming increasingly over-crowded, I have decided to search for one that is more one-on-one. My education career began when I was in high school. I was a life-guard as well as a camp counselor for the local summer camp every summer. Soon thereafter I began sharing the vast knowledge I had been acquiring through the singing lessons I received since the age of 5 by giving my own singing lessons. I had already landed many voice-over gigs, the chance to sing in a national jingle and even got to sing a song for the Pope on Easter Sunday on live television. During my time in Miami I gave after-school lessons at Doral Academy of Art, Creating Me and Maxine's Models. In Baltimore I worked at Art with a Heart.
