I have three years of hands-on experience providing dedicated care to my grandparents, both of whom lived with dementia. During that time, I learned how to handle the many challenges that come with this condition, including moments of frustration, yelling, and even unkind words. I approached every situation with patience and understanding, never letting the tough moments upset me or affect the care I provided. Instead, I focused on staying calm and de-escalating tense situations with kindness and compassion. My experience has taught me the importance of empathy, resilience, and a steady presence when caring for seniors. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with different recipes, keeping my living space clean and organized, watching my favorite shows on TV, and simply spending time chatting and connecting with others.
