About Camala

Teaching is my passion, and I have over 20 years of teaching experience in grades K-8. I hold current state certificates in elementary education and school counseling, and I have a current fingerprint clearance card with DPS. I prefer tutoring students in grades K-5, and I am able to offer support in all subjects within the K-5 curriculum. I am certified in teaching Spalding Phonics, and I'm trained in Singapore Math, as well. As a certified school counselor, I also tutor students who need help developing executive function skills, emotional regulation practices, and coping strategies. I am happy to provide references upon request. I enjoy helping children succeed, and I would love to help your child learn and grow!
